Lights, Camera, Action! With the expansion of Disney World's Hollywood Studios (or MGM to those who remember!) into Toy Story land and Star Wars lands... I think it's fair to say that Hollywood Studios is up there as one of our favourite parks at Disney World! So, if you are planning to step into the movie themed park, check out our top 5 rides and attraction.
1. Hollywood Studios- Rock 'n' Roller Coaster
This is by far my favourite ride in the park. This ride... this incredibly awesome ride not only has the best soundtrack (with some smash hits by Aerosmith including walk this way, dude, and sweet emotions) but takes you from nothing to 57mph in a matter if seconds! This crazy, in the dark, ride sends you through a series of twists and turns including corkscrew and sea serpent roll.
This mixed with the epic music will leave you on high... you'll want to ride this ride again and again and again! So... if you love a thrill ride and a bit of Aerosmith... run dont walk to this ride and get in line.

2. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
Whether you absolutely love Star Wars or not, we highly recommend making time for this ride... or should I say rides! This brilliant and unforgettable ride throws you straight into the Star Wars experience... setting off on a mission for the resistance! Only to be captured and sent onto a whole adventure to escape the first order and Kylo Ren.
This ride really is different to others in Disney World, it covers all the bases using four different ride systems to take you through, and make you feel apart of, the story... from thrilling trackless ride to incredible performances and visuals in an immersive sequence.

3. Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!
It wouldn't be right to have a top 5 rides and attraction list without at least one (or in this case two!) shows you should watch at Hollywood Studios... and Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular is totally worth a watch! This show takes you behind the scenes of the brilliant movie... recreating some of the classic scenes, with incredible stunts and plenty of fire & explosions!
There's even a chance to be a part of the action! Towards the start of the show there used to be the opportunity for members of the audience to participate in a scene... unfortunately due to covid this portion of the show isn't happening. But hopefully it will return!
So, if you have the chance, grab some popcorn and a drink and head over to the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!

4. Hollywood Studios- Slinky Dog Dash
This is honestly such a cute and fun ride that all ages can appreciate! Slinky dog dash is a mild roller coaster but is totally fun as you get shrunk down to toy size and ride through a roller coaster made by Andy in his backyard.
Along the way you see various characters from the classic hit Toy Story series, including a singing wheezy from Toy Story 2! So, if you're looking for a ride the whole family can enjoy, make sure to hit this ride up.

5. Beauty and the Beast: Live on Stage
With tales as old as time... this stunning and beautiful live show is a must on our list at Disney World Hollywood Studios! Beauty and the Beast: Live on Stage brings the classic movie to life with stunning visuals, costumes and brilliant musical numbers that will have you singing be our guest!
This show covers some of the best songs from the classical movie, including Belle/Gaston, Be Our Guest, Something There, and the most magical of all songs Beauty and the Beast... which will leave you feeling all warm and happy inside.

BONUS- Hollywood Studios- Tower of Terror
Now, the reason Tower of Terror didn't make our top 5 is because im terrified of drops. So this ride is one I dread... and have to be very heavily persuaded to go on XD
But with that said, it is a great ride and deffo worth going on... especially if you love the feeling of falling! And if you time it right, you can see fireworks as you drop in the evening!
